Suspension bridges find their application when requesting the construction of bridges of very large spans, where they do not have competition from bridges of other systems. In this work, the authors present the pros and cons of the design, consider the economic side of the issue, and also set the task of finding the equation of cable as a structure element. One of the stages of the work is the disclosure of the ecological significance of the bridge structure. Висячие мосты находят свое применение при запросе на строительство мостов очень больших пролетов, где они не имеют конкуренции со стороны мостов других систем. В данной работе авторы приводят плюсы и минусы конструкции, рассматривают экономическую сторону вопроса, а также ставят задачу отыскания уравнения элемента сооружения – кабеля. Одним из этапов работы является раскрытие экологической значимости мостового сооружения.
