Abstract
This paper presents selected results from three EU projects: AMBASSADOR, DESIGN4ENERGY and INDIGO. In these projects ICT-based approaches are being developed aiming at energy efficient buildings and districts. The projects are in different phases and they are focused on technologically different domains. In all of these projects ICT-technology is in key role allowing for energy efficient solutions. AMBASSADOR developed the District Energy Management and Information System where energy management algorithms aim at optimizing energy flows in a district.
