Abstract
Monitoring the infusion and cure during the manufacturing of composite parts offers great potential to increase both process stability and economic efficiency. Using high frequency technology, a single sensor line is sufficient to provide spatial information on the position of multiple flow fronts and the local progress of the cure of the resin. Thus, the number of sensors necessary can be reduced, minimizing negative effects on the process and facilitating sensor integration.
