Abstract
The purpose of Work Package 2 is to address and overcome central algorithmic core problems in the realm of energy meteorology. The goals of the task are to: Further develop methodologies for optimal operation under uncertainty and for the first time apply these to renewable energy. Demonstrate the effect of uncertainty on optimal operation, thus setting the goals for accurately characterizing the uncertainty. Compare state-of-the-art weather prediction at the local scale with the ones developed, demonstrating the additional value. H2020
