Abstract
This research aims at studying the role played by ideology in the access and functioning of the inter-discourse about ecology and the environment through a discursive analysis of the ways that the State’s power uses to inscribe itself in the citizens’ memory. We argue that there is a regular practice in the State’s verbal and non-verbal discourse in an attempt to eliminate undesirable meanings and install a hypothetical transparency towards impartiality and objectivity.
