Investigation of the Effect of Substrate Thickness on Absorption of TMDC Monolayers in the Visible Wavelength

International audience; Two-dimensionam transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) layers with direct bandgaps have made a new horizon for pplication in photonics and electroptics. The presence of bandgap causes a significant absorption useful in photovoltaic devices. When these layers are located on a substrate that leads to a frequent optical reflection thus affect the absorption.Typically, SiO2 or Si or their combination as a substrate is used for these monolayers. In this paper, we used a transfer matrix method to study the absorption spectra of TMDC monolayers including MoSe2, WSe2, MoS2 and WS2 with the presence of SiO2/ Si substrate with different thicknesses of SiO2 layer. We found that using the SiO2 layer with a thickness of 90 nm in SiO2/ Si substrate does not change the general behavior of absorption and increases the absorption in some regions of the wavelength range.; با (TMDC) لایه هاي دوبعدي ديکالکوجنایدهاي فلزات واسطهگافهاي نواري مستقیم، افق جدیدي در کاربري این مواد در فوتونیکو الکترواپتیک ایجاد کرده است. وجود گاف نواري باعث جذب اپتیکیچشمگیر این لایه ها در دستگاههاي فوتوولتاییک میشود. قرارگیري اینلایه ها روي زیرلایه به علت بازتابهاي متوالی، بر طیف جذب اثرو یا ترکیب آنها به عنوان Si یا SiO میگذارد. به طور متداول، از 2زیرلایه براي این تک لایه ها استفاده میشود. در این مقاله با استفاده ازشامل TMDC روش ماتریس انتقال، طیف جذب تک لایههايو یا Si یا SiO با حضور زیرلایۀ 2 WS و 2 MoS2،WSe2 ،MoSe2بررسی شد. SiO با ضخامتهاي مختلف لایۀ 2 SiO2/Si دوتاییدر زیرلایۀ دوتایی به عنوان ضخامت SiO ضخامت 90 نانومتر لایۀ 2بهینه انتخاب شد؛ چرا که روند کلی جذب را تغییر نمیدهد و باعثافزایش جذب در بعضی نواحی طول موجی میشود.
