Analisis kerentanan pantai berdasarkan parameter fisik

Abstract

Penelitian ini berhasil melakukan analisis kerentanan pesisir sepanjang pantai Kota Makassar yang memiliki panjang 24,3 km. Daerah penelitian ini terletak di sepanjang bagian barat Kota Makassar, dengan penggunaan lahan : daerah wisata, cagar budaya, pemukiman, pelabuhan, hutan mangrove, tambak, sawah, pertanian lahan kering, semak belukar dan tanah kosong. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui kerentanan pantai dalam meminimalkan dampak kerusakan pesisir. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengumpulkan data hidro-oseanografi dan morfologi, menghitung indeks kerentanan pantai (CVI). Kemiringan pantai, tinggi gelombang, pasang surut, kenaikan muka laut, perubahan garis pantai, dan penggunaan lahan pesisir adalah pertimbangan dalam faktor fisik pantai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sepanjang 11 km yang membentang dari Biringkanaya sampai Tallo dan sebagian di Wajo dan Mariso memiliki kerentanan sangat rendah, 5 km di pesisir Ujung Tanah, Wajo dan Ujung Pandang memiliki kerentanan rendah, 2 km di pesisir Tamalate dan Mariso memiliki kerentanan sedang, 4,3 km di pesisir Tamalate memiliki kerentanan tinggi dan 2 km yang juga berada di pesisir Tamalate memiliki kerentanan sangat tinggi. Kontributor utama kerentanan tinggi dari daerah penelitian adalah kemiringan dan perubahan garis pantai.
