This bachelor's thesis on the topic of combined transport is conducted as a search for an extensive topic and tries to cover it as comprehensively as possible. The work has 4 main parts, which deal with combined transport in different directions. In the section dealing with the definition of combined transport, several definitions are given and an analysis of the reasons why there is not a single definition. The second part of the work contains the advantages and disadvantages of this system and types of combined transport, which is associated with the third part with the topic of technical means used in combined transport. In the last part, the work deals with the development of combined transport and mentions the reasons for the beginning of its use and the development of transport over the last 20 years in the Czech Republic.
