
This thesis deals with crude oil trading and its aim is to find the best trading strategy for trading with this commodity. The first part focuses on crude oil as a commodity and describes the basic indicators related to crude oil trade (price, export, import, reserves). In this part are also mentioned two organizations (OPEC and EIA), which have a strong influence on crude oil trade. The second chapter focuses more on crude oil trading. This chapter describes instruments and trading strategies, through which crude oil can be traded on a commodity exchange. In conclusion, there is a description of trading strategy devised by the author of the thesis, which includes elements of fundamental and technical analysis.
