Abstract

У статті розглянуто місце здоров’я у системі життєвих цінностей студентів першого курсу медичного інституту та деякі риси їх здоров’язбережувальної поведінки. Показано, що в умовах глобальної загрози здоров’ю людства цінність здоров’я набуває першочергового значення. Зазначено позитивні тенденції у здоров’язбережувальній поведінці студентської молоді такі як дотримання вимог до фізичної рухової активності, денного розпорядку, відмова від шкідливих звичок. Виявлено проблеми, що пов’язані із харчуванням: значне вживання солодощів, солі та тваринних жирів; недостатнє – фруктів та овочів (крім картоплі) У процесі формування ціннісного ставлення до здоров’я у закладах вищої освіти особливої уваги вимагає дотримання принципів системності і систематичності та надання доказової інформації щодо вживання харчових продуктів для зміцнення імунітету. В статье рассмотрены место здоровья в системе жизненных ценностей студентов первого курса медицинского института и некоторые черты их здоровьесберегающего поведения. Показано, что в условиях глобальной угрозы здоровью человечества ценность здоровья приобретает первостепенное значение. Отмечены положительные тенденции в здоровьесберегающем поведении студенческой молодежи, такие как соблюдение требований к физической двигательной активности, дневному распорядку, отказ от вредных привычек. Выявлены проблемы, связанные с питанием: значительное употребление сладостей, соли и животных жиров; недостаточное – фруктов и овощей (кроме картофеля) В процессе формирования ценностного отношения к здоровью в учреждениях высшего образования особое внимание требует соблюдения принципов системности и систематичности и предоставления доказательной информации об употреблении пищевых продуктов для укрепления иммунитета. The article reviews the place of health in the life values system of first-year students of a medical institute and some features of their health-saving behaviour. The place of health values among vital values was determined by the well-known method of M. Rokich; the traits of health-saving behaviour were determined by the M. Voynarovskaya questionnaire adapted by the researches. This questionnaire contains forty basic questions about health behaviour, divided into six blocks: nutrition; preventive behaviour; sleep, rest and mental health; health safety; physical activity; avoidance of risky behaviour. Under the conditions of a global threat to human health, the value of health is of paramount importance. Positive trends in the health-saving behaviour of students are pointed out, such as compliance with the requirements for physical activity, daily regime, and abandonment of bad habits. It was found, that majority of students considered its health as good one, spent at least 30 minutes for various activities related to moderate or intense physical activity; performed intensive daily exercise during a household activity at least twice a week; increased the number of movements and physical efforts in daily life; limited TV viewing time; limited time for games and entertainment on the computer, smartphone, etc. The problems associated with nutrition are identified as well: significant consumption of sweets, salt, and animal fats; insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables (except potatoes). Significant differences were found in the responses of boys and girls to some questions in almost every block of the questionnaire. It is concluded that in the process of health behaviour forming in higher education institutions special attention is required to the observation of the principles of systematic nature, and to the provision of evidence on the use of food for immunity strengthening to the students. This article will be useful for secondary school teachers, higher education teachers, and academics, who research students' life values system and health-saving behaviour.
