Abstract
[EN] The Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) takes part in the development of a dedicated stretcher to be used with the new breast PET of the company ONCOVISION. This device called MAMMI is the clinical PET system with the highest spatial resolution in the market, specifically dedicated to breast cancer detection in early stages and its assessment in later phases. The IBV assessed ONCOVISION in the design, manufacturing, and mechanical tests of the stretcher, applying user centered design methodologies and ergonomic criteria.
