Abstract
[EN] The work of the architect Kazuo Shinohara had as main goal the creation of emotion in the center of the house. His work, although mostly consisting of few, rather small single-family houses, places him as the most influential of his generation in Japan today.In his designs of the mid-1970s he uses concrete frame structures as a fundamental device to question the foundations of domesticity.
