Reducing food loss and waste : Setting a Global Action Agenda

How is the world going to feed nearly 10 billion people while also advancing economic development and meeting the challenge of climate change? This has become one of the paramount questions of our time. Reducing food loss and waste is part of the answer. Tackling the issue of food loss and waste can generate a “triple win.” Reductions can save money for farmers, companies, and households. Wasting less food means we can feed more people. And reductions can alleviate pressure on climate, as well as on water and land.
