Российский абсолютизм XVIII века и альтернативные проекты политического развития

Abstract

В статье освещаются проблемы становления, особенности и этапы развития абсолютизма в России ХVIII века, а также попытки разработки конституционных проектов и их реализации по ограничению самодержавной власти. На основе анализа проектов Д.М. Голицына, П.И. Шувалова, Н.И. Панина, М.М. Щербатова автор статьи рассматривает основные направления развития мысли дворянских конституционалистов, их программные положения, цели и методы реализации своих целей по ограничению абсолютной власти самодержавия. Автор статьи приходит к выводу, что отдельные положения проектов дворянских конституционалистов нашли отражение в политике просвещенного абсолютизма в России второй половины ХVIII века.
