Мелиоративность и пейоративность эвфемии

Abstract

Статья рассматривает эмоциональную полярность эвфемистических единиц, которая представлена мелиоративным и пейоративными полюсами. Автор дает толкование таким терминам, как «эмоция» и «эмотиология», рассматривает вопрос рациональности изучения эмоций в языке. В статье отмечается, что количество пейоративов значительно превышает количество мелиоративов в языке. Исследователь придерживается мнения, что при рассмотрении семантических свойств эвфемизма необходимо учитывать и синхроническую, и диахроническую стороны вопроса.
