Abstract

11. Stigmella aceris (Frey, 1857) (Figs 22, 69) Host-plants. Acer campestre L. and A. tataricum L. in the Crimea; in other regions also other species of Acer. Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Submediterranean; the species occurs from Spain and Great Britain to Estonia, central European Russia, Greece, and Asia Minor. Material examined. CRIMEA: 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, empty leaf-mines and larvae on A. campestre L., fieldwork card no. 4972, 12 –26.viii.2009, leg. A. Remeikis & J.R.
