Jornada de ciència climàtica al carrer. Una proposta d’educació científica i ambiental per a 1r d’ESO.

Abstract

A l’Institut ca n’Oriac hem impulsat la “Jornada de ciència climàtica al carrer”, una experiència educativa on l’alumnat de 1r d’ESO esdevé agent actiu de divulgació científica. Amb el lema: “Som veu i altaveu”, la jornada consisteix a preparar, organitzar i dinamitzar una mostra científica al carrer amb tallers, experiments i maquetes que expliquen, de forma clara i vivencial, les causes, les conseqüències i les possibles solucions al canvi climàtic. El públic destinatari són els i les alumnes de primària de les escoles adscrites del barri, amb qui es comparteix aquest coneixement en un format lúdic i interactiu, a l’espai públic de la ciutat. La jornada neix amb el fet d’apropar el coneixement científic, i que el rigor científic ha d’estar a l’abast de tothom. La Jornada està inspirada en l’esperit del moviment Fridays for Future i la figura de Greta Thunberg, posant èmfasi en el poder de la veu dels i les joves per sensibilitzar sobre la crisi climàtica. Alhora, parteix de la convicció que l’aprenentatge entre iguals, la potència de transmissió d’aquest coneixement entre l’alumnat, l’autonomia, el pensament crític i la comprensió profunda del coneixement científic són claus en la construcció d’aquesta societat ecosensible i transformadora.
