The chapter analyzes the activities of the congresses of teachers and teachers of geography of Russia at the beginning of the XX and XXI centuries. The results of the participation of delegates and participants at the Congress of Geography Teachers in 1915 and the All-Russian Congresses of Geography Teachers in 2011 and 2016 are characterized, the dynamics of changes in the topics of the congresses are analyzed, the issues of the methodology of teaching geography at school, forming the concept of school geographical education in Russia are touched upon.
