
Раскрыты социальные, психологические и личностно-индивидуальные особенности детей-сирот и детей, оставшихся без попечения родителей, воспитывающихся в учреждениях интернатного типа. Изучены особенности социальной и социально-педагогической деятельности интернатных учреждений по подготовке воспитанников к самостоятельной жизни вне стен интерната. Теоретические исследования подтверждены результатами проведенного эмпирического исследования по определению показателей готовности воспитанников интернатов к самостоятельной жизни. Предложены рекомендации по совершенствованию работы интернатных учреждений с воспитанниками.
Social, psychological and personal-individual characteristics of orphans and children left without parental care, which are bringing up in boarding schools, are disclosed. The peculiarities of social and social-pedagogical activity of boarding schools for preparing pupils for independent life outside the walls of the boarding school are studied. Theoretical studies are confirmed by the results of an empirical study to determine the indices of readiness of boarding schools pupils for independent living. Recommendations for improving the work of boarding schools with pupils are proposed.
