Abstract
<p><em>The present study focuses on increasing resistance of highly-loaded instrument (in particular, punches) for stud driving head diameter of 8 mm and 10 mm countersunk hex through the optimization of heat hardening process using a forged-rolled steel billet DI23 in its production.</em></p>
