Abstract
The article presented the prerequisites and main principles of strategic management of sustainable development of agri-food sphere of the region. It is noted, that the agri-food sphere has a special nature, different from other economic sectors, because driving requires production activities in harmony with nature. It is shown, that sustainability management of agri-food areas of the region – is to ensure the sustainability of all its subsystems and components – economic, environmental and social.
