Abstract
The power transmission characteristics of the high-voltage DC (HVDC) feeding system are the key issues to evaluate the ability of the grid to eliminate DC power. The characteristics of a single voltage source converter-based high-voltage DC (VSC-HVDC) feeding DC–AC system is divided into two stages. In the first stage, when delivering little reactive power, the active and reactive power flowing out of the converter must meet certain constraints.
