Survey of formal and informal citation in Google search engine

Abstract
Aim: Informal citations is bibliographic information (title or Internet address), citing sources of information resources for informal scholarly communication and always neglected in traditional citation databases. This study is done, in order to answer the question of whether informal citations in the web environment are traceable. The present research aims to determine what proportion of web citations of Google search engine is related to formal and informal citation. Research method: Webometrics is the method used.
