Abstract

Este trabajo repasa el significado del concepto «acción». Se analiza la definición estándar asentada en una estructura nominal partiendo de la premisa de que actuar hace referencia a cualquier acción u omisión humana, guiada por determinados motivos y dirigida a ciertos fines. Seguidamente se desarrolla la propuesta predicativa de acción. Para ello, se postula que el significado de acción va indisolublemente acompañado de dos elementos: por un lado, su fuerte componente predicativo insertado en los juegos del lenguaje que expresan los hablantes; y, por otro, su exteriorización en una forma de vida determinada. Los rasgos esenciales del contenido de una acción se caracterizan mediante un esquema que se manifiesta en su orden explícito. El ordenamiento en el que se efectúa toda acción permite hacerse una representación perspicua de la misma. Dicho orden es analizado mediante su gramática, que se encarga de mostrar la acción como una institución enseñada y aprendida y externalizada en un programa holista
