Abstract

Los silencios de la historia empujan a Elena Poniatowska a visibilizar vidas precarias sustraídas y distorsionadas en la androcéntrica tradición nacional forjada en la revolución. La escritura fabula la alteridad de un sujeto inscripto como contingente y secundario, marcado por la raza, la clase, el sexo y la cultura. Me interesa analizar las representaciones del género y la subalternidad en el imaginario revolucionario: “Mulitas” sir- vientas y soldaderas casi anónimas en contraste con Jesusa Palancares / Josefa Bórquez cuya experiencia domina un testimonio histórico y políti- co. Una fuerte y escéptica crítica a las visiones épicas que se trabaja a través de la ficción y la crónica.
