О знакомстве Д. Н. Блудова с Н. М. Карамзиным (по письмам к В. А. Жуковскому 1804 г.)

Abstract

В статье рассматривается история знакомства с Н. М. Карамзиным Д. Н. Блудова в 1804 г. с внесением в его биографию важной хронологической поправки. Основой для пересмотра этого эпизода являются неопубликованные письма Д. Н. Блудова к В. А. Жуковскому 1804 г. Личное знакомство с Карамзиным изменило отношение к нему молодого Блудова, которое можно охарактеризовать как антикарамзинизм. Неприятие сентиментализма затрагивало Карамзина как главу литературного направления и обнаруживало созвучность настроений Блудова декларациям членов московского Дружеского литературного общества. Жуковский остановил первоначальные планы Блудова включиться в антисентименталистскую литературную полемику и сыграл ключевую роль в истории его знакомства с Карамзиным.
