
The purpose of this research is to know students’ responses toward the implementation of Poster Session method in teaching speaking skill and to know the result of their study in speaking Arabic. This research is class action research in class XI IPA of SMAIT Al-Fityan, Aceh Besar. The data collected through interviews, observations, and tests.The result of this research showed that the implementation of poster session method is effective in improving students’ speaking skills and achievements. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pelaksanaan metode Poster Session dalam pengajaran keterampilan berbicara serta mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dalam berbicara bahasa arab. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di kelas XI IPA SMAIT Al-Fityan, Aceh Besar. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa merespon secara positif penggunaan Poster Session dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab, demikian pula hasil belajar mereka menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan.
