Enraizamento in vitro de frutíferas da família Rosaceae

Abstract

A micropropagação vem sendo usada com a finalidade de multiplicar plantas com características genéticas desejáveis e livres de patógenos. Esta tecnologia tem um papel importante para a fruticultura brasileira, pois os produtores buscam maneiras de produzir rapidamente frutas com alta qualidade. Nessa revisão objetivou-se aprofundar o conhecimento sobre a etapa de enraizamento in vitro. O enraizamento in vitro encontra grandes dificuldades, especialmente para as espécies de plantas lenhosas. A resposta ao enraizamento é dependente dos fatores endógenos e exógenos. Os obstáculos encontrados no enraizamento se devem principalmente a interação destes fatores, que dificulta o isolamento e a caracterização das variáveis envolvidas na formação radicular. Cada espécie, ou cultivar de uma mesma espécie, apresenta resposta diferente ao enraizamento in vitro, devido às características genéticas. Portanto, não é possível estabelecer um protocolo geral de enraizamento in vitro para todas as espécies de rosáceas.
