
El presente artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre el discurso ritual, su caracterización y la forma como se da en la comunicación que establecen los seres humanos con lo sobrenatural. Se examinan las clases de rituales y se introduce el concepto de extrañamiento, como un concepto central en la definición del discurso ritual. Se presentan así mismo algunas características observadas en la relación comunicativa entre vivos y muertos que comúnmente se conoce como brujería. Finalmente, se hace una breve mención de las lápidas y los epitafios como otro elemento constitutivo en los procesos tanatosemiológicos.The author of the article presents the results of an investigation on the ritual discourse, its characterization and forms of appearance in the communication which human beings establish with the supernatural. The kinds of rites are analyzed, and the concept of bewilderment as a core concept in the definition of ritual discourse. Also, some observable characteristics in the intercourse between living and dead beings commonly known as witchery, are presented. Finally, the tombstones and epitaphs as a further element which constitutes tanatosemiological processes, are briefly mentioned.
