Abstract

Estudio realizado en una muestra seleccionada de 50 personas, de apariencia normal y hábito normastánico ,de ambos sexos y comprendidas entre dieciocho y cuarenta años de edad. Muestra tomada en el Hospital "José María Vargas", del Instituto Venezolano de los Seguros Sociales. La Guaira (Dis:trito Federal). Para las determinaciones de colesterol total en sangre, se utilizó el método de Bennie Zak, Ph. D. (American Journal for Clinical Pathology, May. 1957, página 583). Caracas. 7 de marzo de 1959.
