Abstract

Considerando a dupla função da história da historiografia, a crítica e a memorialística, o objetivo do artigo é analisar a história da historiografia brasileira, com destaque para o trabalho de José Honório Rodrigues, buscando compreender o lugar do historiador Capistrano de Abreu (1853-1927) nesta história.
