Obtención de recubrimientos difusivos de carburos complejos de cromo microaleados con boro en aceros I

Abstract

En este trabajo se aplica el método de saturación sólido simultáneo para obtener capas difusivas de carburos de cromo aleados con boro sobre aceros empleando la cromita cubana y el ácido bórico como aportantes de los elementos a difundir. Las mezclas saturantes se obtienen por aluminotermia de manera previa al proceso de saturación. Mediante un diseño de experimentos se estudia la influencia de las variables relación cromo/ boro en las mezclas saturantes y tipo de acero herramental sobre el espesor y la microdurezas de las capas difusivas. Los recubrimientos obtenidos presentan valores de microdureza máximos entre 1800 y 1900 Hv20 y espesores de capa acorde con el régimen de saturación y el substrato empleado.
