
Se detectó la presencia de un parche de Syringodium filiforme con una longitud inusual en las hojas y el rizoma vertical. Se presentan las mediciones realizadas en una muestra, que arrojó una longitud de la hoja entre 7.8 y 69 cm y se compara con los resultados de otros estudios, realizados con esta especie.
