
A partir de los acercamientos de Gayatri C. Spivak y otros teóricos (Walter Benjamin, George Steiner, Luise Von Flotow, Paul de Man, Susan Jill Levine, Sherry Simon, Homi K. Bhabha y Ovidi Carbonell i Cortés) a la traducción, se define una perspectiva cultural para la labor traductora. Se plantea un enfoque que permite dar cuenta de las relaciones entre decolonización y continuidad poscolonialista, herramientas útiles para ampliar la comprensión de la traducción que va más allá de la simple transposición de textos de una lengua a otra.
