Smart cities, creative Cities of smart citizens?

Abstract

Discussies over de ‘Smart City’ draaien vaak om technologieën die de stad efficiënter moeten maken. Naast deze ‘control-room’-visie staan twee minder bekende benaderingen: ‘Smart Citizens’ zet technologie in om burgers meer zeggenschap te geven, terwijl de ‘Creative City’ de stad beziet als ‘living lab’. Alle drie deze versies van de smart city bieden kansen om het werken aan de stad op nieuwe manieren vorm te geven, maar roepen ook vragen op.
