Abstract

Over time, the flow of Greeks to Serbia has been linked to a number of historical and socio-economic factors. Looking back, we will see that various famous merchant families have left their special mark on Serbia. Over the centuries, in addition to trade relations, bonds of friendship and interaction have developed between the local population and the Greek immigrants. At the heart of this research is the migration of Greeks to Serbia in recent decades. The article addresses issues of their national and cultural identity, their integration into modern Serbian society, the promotion of their national identity in the public sphere, social interactions with each other, the relationship they maintain with Greece, etc.
