Abstract:Commercial inverters commonly use two or three levels modulation and output filters are used to obtain a waveform approximate to sine wave. This project is a multilevel inverter (81 levels) based on three level inverters connectedusing transformers. It uses a common DC source and transformers with different input-output ratio. The control circuit is designed based on algorithms implemented in microcontrollers. The power circuits are designed with adequate power MOSFET, depending on the power handled of each inverter.
