Abstract

The article is devoted to the etymological and semantic analysis of the notorious Arabism “jihad”. The research object of this article is written printed text of extremist-terrorist orientation. Dictionaries and research works in religious studies and texts of Hadith and the Koran were also used. The methods of contextual, discursive and component analysis, as well as the method of corpus linguistics, involving the use of a software parser, were used to analyze practical language material.

Статья посвящена этимологическому и семантическому анализу актуального арабизма "джихад".
