Abstract
<jats:p>The article represents attempt of speculative reading of the first large work of the French philosopher Michel Foucault “Madness history during a classical era". Authors suggest to look at Foucault’s concept from the point of view of criticism of classical rationality. The consciousness is considered through a prism of a perspective of transformation of reason by Hegel.</jats:p>
