Abstract
Restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and structural protein patterns and host spectrum analysis were used for identification and classification of nineteen Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus phages. They were isolated from different dairy product using L. bulgaricus starter cultures (Y4, V1, and V2). For the determination of host spectrum, natural and commercial L. bulgaricus strains to both of L. bulgaricus V1, V2 phages and Streptococcus thermophilus B3 have been investigated.
