Private Equity and Venture Capital Investors' Involvement in Firms Post Initial Public Offering

The capital provided by private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) investors represents an alternative type of financing available to firms in comparison to more traditional financial intermediaries such as banks, equity from owners or angel investors.
