Students following degrees in journalism and Public Relations are adapting to a multi-platform, multi-skilled professional environment in association with a number of charitable and voluntary sector organisations.\ud \ud \ud In both second and third years, they are working individually or in groups to apply theory to practice in “real-life” situations, gaining valuable professional experience and enhancing their own personal development. They are applying entrepreneurial and enterprise skills, mainly in the non-for-profit sector where such skills – along with a talent for creativity – are essential in the competition for funding and public donation.
