Therapeutic hypothermia in the middle-income settings: Where to now?

Worldwide, deaths related to complications around the time of birth (intrapartum-related deaths), are the third leading cause of under 5-mortality (1). Globally, each year, an estimated 1.15 million infants develop NE with around a quarter of survivors affected by long-term neurodisability (1).
