Towards Performance Related Decision Support for Model Driven Engineering of Enterprise SOA Applications

Model Driven Performance Engineering (MDPE)\ud enables early performance feedback in a MDE\ud process, in order to avoid late identification of\ud performance problems which could cause significant\ud additional development costs. In our past work we\ud argued that a synchronization mechanism between\ud development and performance analysis models is\ud required to adequately integrate analysis results into\ud the development process enabling performance related\ud decision support. In this paper we present a solution\ud for this requirement. We present a new multi-view\ud based approach and its implementation enabling\ud systematic performance related decision support. We\ud apply our research on the model driven engineering of\ud process orchestrations on top of SAP’s Enterprise\ud Service Oriented Architecture (Enterprise SOA).
