Carbon dioxide concentration in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere. II

Bischof, Walter (2011)

Air sample collection for CO. analysis using the compression system of commercial aircraft (i.e. "bleed air" from the jet engine or air from a separate turbocompressor as on the DC-S) was introduced in 1962 (Bischof, 1970). By this method, measurements from higher altitudes and over larger distances became possible.DOI: 10.1111/j.2153-3490.1971.tb00604.x
