Disciplinen och den dubbla kompetensen - Noteringar i anslutning till ett kvalifikationskrav

This paper is about changes of mean ings of an expression, the double competence, often used as a demand of qualif ication when professors of ”Pedagogik” are recruited. Material used was all writ ten expert assessme nts of applicants ́ qualifications from 65 competitions between 1910 and 1998. The assessments were analysed, using dimensions as wi dth, depth and quality. Main outcomes: disagreement on meanings between expe rts up to World War II, struggles be- tween experts about the territory duri ng 50thies and 60thies, superficial con- sensus on ”the system view” during 70thi es and early 80thies and a more com- plex emphasis on quality the last decades.
