The term corporate environmentalism (CEVM) has introduced by Western world in late 1960, means value of corporate towards environmental conservation. Yet, it is an old idea for India but usage of term has commenced in India from 1972. The Indian model of corporate environmentalism has experienced many alterations from ancient to present time. Available form of the present values influenced by Western culture and not accepted in wide. This discrepancy causes environmental pollution. India needs a unique model of corporate environmentalism, which will be suitable for Indian culture. Major aim of the study is to draw an outline about changing trends of Indian corporate environmentalism by content analysis method. This study proves ancient Indian concept regulated by inner values, which reflected in outer manifestation of corporate. Therefore, Western perceptions are dependent on technical aspects along with various positive values, which are applicable for India. Integration of Indian and Western corporate environmental values have synergistic outcome to combat global pollution problems. This article proposed a conceptual model of corporate environmentalism for India.
