For the first time from the aerial parts of the rough cornflower (Centaurea scabiosa L.) isolated and identified using GC-mass spectrometry of carboxylic acid esters: ethyl esters of palmitic and octadecenoic acids and palmitin (1 - (hydroxymethyl) -1,2-hexadecanoic acid ester etandiolovy), not previously described for this species.
