The influence of temperature, nature of magnesium and organolithium reagents, solvent, catalyst on the processes 1,2- and 1,4-addition to the enone system of (R)-4-Menten-3-one were studied. Optimal conditions for the synthesis of 1,2 - and 1,4-adducts were identified.
