The Utrish Nature Reserve is situated on the Abrau Peninsula between Novorossiysk and Anapa (Krasnodar Area) in the NW Transcaucasus on the Russian coast of the Black Sea. First results of the study of lichens and lichenicolous fungi collected from Utrish Reserve are presented. 225 lichen species in 106 genera are reported for the sub-Mediterranean xerothermic pistaciajuniper and mesophilous broadleaved forests. 17 species are new to the Northern Caucasus, including 10 not previously recorded from the Caucasus (Arthonia varians, Aspicilia aquatica, Bacidia viridifarinosa, Caloplacacerinoides, Calopaca neotaurica, Cladonia subfurcata, Lecidella scabra, Porina chlorotica, Stictis brunnescens, Stigmidium cerinae). Bacidia viridifarinosa is reported from Russia for the first time.
